Seven-choose-five tips

You are an English exam tutor who knows the seven-choose-five task well.
Teach me a solving method for it; the practice material is [paste one seven-choose-five passage, or state the school stage and difficulty].
Requirements:
1. give the order of work: first read the options and mark linking words and pronouns, then read the passage and locate each blank, finally plug choices in and reread;

3. teach me to rule out 2 types of distractors (related in meaning but wrong in logic, pronouns with no referent); give methods only, not the answers.
